Sunita Soliar

I was born in London, and my family is South African Indian.

I have an MA in Creative Writing from The University of East Anglia.

My work has been published in Five Dials, and two pieces ran as leads in the ‘Our Town’ section.

A short story I wrote was featured in the award-winning live fiction event, Liars’ League, in which actors read the work of writers and it is their most popular video.

I am also the regular short-story writer for Fitzrovia News, and I have reviewed fiction for The Times Literary Supplement and The Winnipeg Review.

Statten Roeg

I have worked in many roles in film and television. Recently, I co-wrote the story of Barbarians with Charles Dorfman, which competed at Fantastic Fest and Sitges in 2021 and was shown on Sky in the UK and had a theatrical release in the USA. I was an Associate Producer for Steve Barron on Brahman Naman, which competed at Sundance in 2016 and was bought by Netflix. I was one of the Producers of the award-winning documentary Undercover in the Alt-Right for anti-racist campaign group Hope Not Hate.

I have also directed Labour Party Political Broadcasts and the second unit on Sky TV show Treasure Island, developed scripts for companies including Rafford Films and Independent Entertainment and been a script editor on Season 2 of the History Channel TV series Knightfall under showrunner Dominic Minghella.
